Recent Oklahoma Tourism commercials as Production Supervisor/ Location Manager, and Price Tower was one of many locations which included Wescam, Insert Car, Steadicam, and Timelapse filming of Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Norman, and Bartlesville. We managed to shoot 50 plus locations and over 200 scenes in 5 days.
McAlester State Prison
I was US Production Supervisor and overall US Location Manager on a feature film called “Return To Sender” for the last half of 2003 and the first part of 2004. It was a Danish and UK co-production shot 1/2 in Denmark on a stage, and 1/2 in the United States on location. It is a Mystery/ Drama Prison film starring Aidan Quinn, Connie Nielson, and Kelly Preston. It is directed by Bille August who is a wonderful director to work for, and who cares so much about the crew and cast, and story. There were 20 main Danish crew, many had worked with Bille for 20- 30 years, and an additional 70 person US crew for location filming. The movie is a European film but it is in English, and has a great mix of US and European styles, a combination which I wish more US pictures had. The movie should be out by the end of 2004.
